Like removing malware and doing a bit of defrag and hardware maintenance
Or sweeping out the cobwebs and replacing old rotten wooden floorboards
Or weeding your garden and pruning off dead branches
This is not religion/this is not about gods/ it’s about finding ways to be
one who is immune to sorcery
like advertising / politics / learned thought patterns and biased opinions
One thing we can do is personalise and localize how you Identify yourself
we are going to name some of the masks that you are Identified as in society
so – to be – aware - that you put them on
There are Five Names that describes who you are , who you can be sometimes,
Who they want you to become ; your boss, your superior, your teacher or your guide
The 5 Names are – 4 Directions of Me – 4 Urges we have as designed by others
And one central core that points to Self
The generic highly generalised Names I give to you is : Dove, Eagle, Peacock and Owl.
And as it’s core a black Crow
To Participate, we are going to make a Node that connects to you in this rutual
do the following:
· Draw a circle, and from four equidistant directions draw a line, making an X but not going through the circle, leave the circle clear – and make a circle on the end of each line
-from your name remove the wovels e.g. Christian CHRSTN – pick 4 letters C – R – T – N – draw them as a symbol in each of the 4 circles at the end of the X – then take your initials CJ and put in the middle circle
- when you join in the poem you will connect your node to the larger symbol I am making of the 5 birds that symbolises the Self in this perspective.
- we will now go through a process of replacing the generic given birds with local birds that we gift new meaning to. You can do this yourself with any spirit animals that mean something to you but for now I will gift you these spirits of the local birds through my ancestors ways.
-this node is like an anchor for the Self that defines your Urges as you Will it in to a Being of Mind.
