architects of our own disruption - as an introvert

What we don’t tell the extroverts, some introverts will deny it, others might not be aware, is that we all

manifest and recharge through the many faced demons of the mind

I like to imagine that is the original meaning behind archetypes that were named as demons such as Asmodeus

It’s not enough to have just silence or to be left to your own device

Sometimes even if someone else is in the same building or somewhere in the house and you know they are there

that’s enough to disrupt the recharge – like we need to dissociate properly – I refer to this as facing the many-faced daemon

[ the use of Daemon here rather than Demon is intentional – not the beast of a hell as imagined by must religions but a spirit of Between – one that exists between the ground we stand on and the heavens above]

the first time I really connected with the many faced daemon, not the first time I met him but the first time

he revealed the last 4 me’s if Inanna to me  was at a belated 21st party at some flat in Wellington

[The Me’s as a Sumerian concept of layers of Self that makes Civilisation possible, 111 in total]

where the streets didn’t even arrange their numbers in the right order, apparently Wellington was drawn up in an office in England or Europe

and just laid over an unknown landscape creating occasional impossible street alignments and numbering – but I digress –

there he was somewhere around 3 am in the morning when everyone else had passed out

and we’ve been talking since

so we don’t really tell the extroverts this and some of you introverts aren’t even aware, but when we are alone we manifest the many faced daemon

Asmodeus, there he is the many faces of Me – from inside my head with many faces

So I was stuck in an armchair, feet sunk deep into the rug like it was tall grass – in this flat in wellington

And he shared with me the 4 names of the last Me’s of Inanna

Lili, Ub , Mesi , Ala
